How do I know how freaking hard growing and leading a team is?  How do I also know how absolutely vital it is to growing your biz? I've seen it all my friend, first hand, second hand and everything in between.

Here's the thing.  I've spent over a decade working in various Organizational Development, Training, HR and Management roles in companies, mainly in the digital industry, working with a wide range of personalities (yes software developers, I'm looking at you!).

In that time I've worked with literally hundreds of leaders to recognize their blind spots, leverage their strengths, diagnose the issues in their team and become the boss that gets real tangible business results (while not being an ass-hole)

And (arguably) even more importantly - I've been that person!  I get how hard it is to be an effective boss because I've had to do the work.  It's still a practice, I don't get it right everytime (besides, being perfect would make me a pretty damn boring) but I get it.


You'll hear people say 'You're either born good at leading people or you're not'... and I call total bullshit on this! The skills, mindset, systems and processes that makes up a great team and a confident Boss can TOTALLY be learned - and I can help.

And when I'm not working with Bosses to build their teams, I'm doing what every fun loving Canadian does - axe throwing competitions, kayaking and drinking maple syrup for breakfast... kidding! Just doing my part to spread Canadian culture lore.

When I'm not on Google Hangouts with a boss I can be found chilling out in my little corner of Canada, near Windsor Ontario.  Most of the time I'm hanging out with Rae, the most adorable toddler in the whole world (there's a chance I'm biased as her mom but I really think she stacks up in the top 3 at least), going for strolls in the many local parks, out on the boat in the summer, a fairly regular Netflix binge fest (Stranger Things anyone??), and when I'm feeling especially adventurous (ie wearing something other than leggings) the husband and I will hit up the many delicious local craft breweries and restaurants.
